2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse has got a grand opening at Chicago Auto Show, where the general manager of Mitsubishi has officially launched the 4 models of the Mitsubishi Eclipse series. Giving a sense of previous model by look, it is in Mitsubishi term ‘retooled’ model with a modified performance and overall interior restyling. Mitsubishi has taken special attention on control and capability of the previous Eclipse series models and added enhanced interior and exterior to make the car in top chart. About the Car
With a new and modified look, almost everything in 2003 Eclipse has undergone with modification ulti9metly leading to an enhanced and powerful vehicle. The car comes in four different segments of GS, RS, GT and GTS models. The first two models come with a 4-cylindrical engine and the later one comes with that of V6 engine. Mitsubishi provides manual transmission though one can go for auto-transmission mode as per the preference. The GTS model is available in both coupe and convertible mode. The model is incorporated with power heated glass window, stylish tail and front lamp, easy access control and unique instrumentation, vibrant interior look with bright colors and interior accessories. Mitsubishi Eclipse is featured with powerful audio system, power lock with remote, front and side safety airbags and controls on steering for better access.

The Eclipse comes in great affordability as compared to other cars of the same segment. The Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) ranges from $18,167 to$24,347. For RS coupe model the Mitsubishi charges an amount of $18,167. It goes on increasing with the GS and GT coupe model as $19,177 and $21,377 respectively. The GTS coupe model comes in $24,347. Mitsubishi has kept such a reduced price to hit the customers who are looking for a sport classic car with affordable budget but don’t want to degrade the stakes on quality.

The Mitsubishi Eclipse all models carries a fuel tank of 15.2 gallon using the standard gasoline fuel. It gives an average 21 MPG (Miles per gallon) of fuel economy if taken on both city and highway.
